The Story of Eede
Part of Sluis-Aardenburg, independent until 1940. In 1840 it numbered 1233 people. The border village is the site where Queen Wilhelmina on March 13, 1945, upon return from exile first set foot in the Netherlands. A monument marks that memorable event.
