The Story of Plakkebord
A hamlet in the municipalities of Oostburg and Sluis-Aardenburg, was from 1940 to 1970 part of IJzendijke. So named - Plakkebord means ‘notice board’ - as it was the location to post official notices of the Dutch States General for the area (then an island).
